Common Question

Several people have asked me "are you going to change Emelda's name when she comes to the states"? The answer is NO. Emelda was given her name at birth. Emelda is the only name she has ever known. Perhaps if Emelda were an infant, maybe I would consider, but she's 6! Emelda will have plenty of other changes... especially going from the last name of POP to SZYMCZAK. I think that in itself is change enough! Maybe I will be the one that does the name change. What do you think?
