Cherry-mae is the AMAZING woman that agreed to take in Emelda during the transition process. Her son Keving and daughter Adriana have been a great influence on Emelda. Missing: Tariq, Michael and Miss Otilda. Miss Otilda is Cherry-mae's mom. She has been working with Emelda every day after school. Last year, Emelda's grade poing average was 58.8% Emelda's report card for her first term is 96.6%. A little TLC goes a long way!!! A BIG thank you to the entire Avilez family for loving, supporting and working with Emelda. We LOVE you!!!
